parking Gori Kvakhvreli, Georgia

  On the north bank of the River Kura (Mtkvari) about 10km east of Gori is the cave city Uplistsikhe.. The city is world´s cultural center and is about 3000 years old.. Before the entrance to the cave city is a parking lot in a green area near the river.. Storage facilities are located in the parking lot or in the grove between the car park and the river, even right on the river possible.. The area is also used as a picnic area with a playground, snack bar, restrooms, water, etc.
At the entrance to the cave city is a cafe and Infostan and also clean toilets.. The facility is guarded day and night.. When the day visitors have departed around a heavenly peace.. The next place is on the other side of the river.
