  Above the Alazani Valley lies the small, historic town.. The place has been renovated with foreign aid over the past decade.. Many of the houses from the 17th and 19th centuries were renovated, new laid cobblestones and made various historical monument.. Worth seeing is a lot like castle, museum, Bodbe Monastery, etc. There are some new hotels and restaurants in town.. Auf The main market square is plenty of room to stay.. In the evening when the day trippers are gone and the bus does not drive then silence.
