This is the parking lot in front of the `Exhibition Centre´ and a hotel on the outskirts of Butuceni.. At the time of my visit on 11/8/2014 both the hotel and the adjacent exhibition center were closed.. Although a sign pointed out that parking is there for a fee, but there was no one to whom I could pay.

From the capital Chisinau drive along the M21 and M2 motorway about 40 km north direction Orhei.. The turnoff to Orheiul Vekhi and the remaining 15 km are clearly signposted.. The parking space is located in the valley of the river Raut at the entrance of the dusty village Butuceni.
