  • Ghent is the capital of the province of East Flanders in Flanders / Belgium and has about 250,000 inhabitants.. <9> <9> <1001> <9> <9> 500 BC. Chr.. the Celts were already settled here.. Ganda was founded in the 7th century between Schelde and Leie.. Around the abbeys St. Bavo and St. Peter developed the city..
