  • German Oberehnheim, it is a town of more than 10 000 inhabitants in the department of Bas-Rhin in the Alsace region.. <9> The first mention dates back to 778, in the 12th century it belonged to the Holy Roman Empire.. The free imperial city, (1240 - 1648), joined the Alsatian Tenstate League in 1354.. The Thirty Years War brought significant destruction in the city..
