Spacious parking space below the famous monastery adjacent to meadows. The monastery is known for its good Andechser beer and Doppelbock (be careful, ) and its cold and warm specialties such as pork knuckles and potato salad and much more. After the meal and the good beer, it´s not far to the motorhome and a long walk. If you only come during the day, you can park for free, if you want to stay overnight you have to use the paid motorhome parking space here

Have already been here. Enough parking spaces, fresh water, gray water, toilet disposal. Public toilets very clean. Beer and pork knuckle were very good as always. Since no change from the last time-» no pictures. The location very good. You can´t get any closer to the monastery.

Even if there were over 80 WOMO´s on the parking space and the adjacent large car park over the long weekend, it´s always nice here, only the many disposal companies that have to drive to the end of the SP are very annoying. @ But be careful: If the space is not completely occupied, there is an obligation to park the mobile home there. If the parking space is fully occupied, you can also stay overnight in the monastery´s large car park. There, however, the regular parking space fee is also due!!!

Due to the corona situation, the Bräustüberl is currently only open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is expected to apply until March 19, 2022. Meal vouchers that are issued with the parking space receipt cannot be redeemed during the week! The monastery restaurant is currently completely closed.

Even in mid-October, the square is jam-packed. During the week you can get a cookie, especially in the morning. On the 2nd weekend in October, an additional 40 womos stayed in the adjacent parking lot.

We were here for 4 days and we really liked it, beautiful space, bike tours to Lake Ammer and Starnberg and then a delicious beer in the monastery beer garden. . . . . and we were lucky to have nice pitch neighbors around us. The price including a voucher of € 3.40 is reasonable. A part of the adjacent car parking lot was also designated as a mobile home parking space because of the overcrowding of the original space. But at the same price.
