Large meadow with isolated gravel areas at a winery (Alexander) A few trees, right in the middle of vineyards. The nearby main street only causes a little noise during the day, at night the place is idyllically quiet. During the Dürkheim Sausage Market, 2nd and 3rd weekend of September, 8 euros. Then the place is also parked by cars and motorcycles, no open spaces between the mobile homes. The power columns (16Amp) are centrally placed, long extension cables are required. Every Thursday is the weekly market, Bad Dürkheimer barrel and salt works

I also had to get coins and have them changed in various shops. The banks want a fee of 1-2 euros for a roll of money! @ That doesn´t work at all, how are you supposed to put 42 euros in coins into the parking device for a maximum of 3 days??? @ Otherwise the space is huge. If you don´t want to stay overnight, the free large parking lot would be better. Street is very busy and noisy.

Now at the beginning of April 2023 no card payment is possible. Coins only. At €14 per day, that´s quite a task, an additional €1 per kw of electricity is also heavy and increases the need for coins. When registering at the tourist information office, you will receive a guest card and a public transport ticket for the surrounding area upon presentation of the parking ticket slip. This is probably the reason for the sharp change in price.

We only emptied gray water and the toilet. In the 5 minutes it took, people had to push in between emptying the bottles and knock on our door. It´s a shame how people who are obviously retired still have to hurry on vacation. We have lost the desire to stand still.

Stayed here for 2 days.. At least in the rear area on the vines, also very quiet.. Scenic.. Only a few minutes´ walk to the sausage market and barrel. Nice walks possible from the square.. Inexpensive also.
