Day parking directly at Thumsee, 5 min to the lido. , Walk around the lake approx. 30 min. .
The hike to the Höllenbachalm is highly recommended, there is fresh milk, buttermilk, butter and homemade cheese. However, it is about 2 hours uphill (good footwear required). On the way there are wonderful views of the valley to the lake, and when you are at the top you unfortunately have to go downhill again to the Alm, but it´s worth it.

Day car park / overnight place directly at Thumsee: @Perfect starting point for mountain hikes and mountain bike tours with a refreshment in the lake at the end. In good weather and on weekends it overflows quickly, but in the evening the place empties quickly except for a few campers. Was able to stay 3 nights without any problems.
