I used the place as an overnight stay. But I will stay there a few days longer next year. Clean nice place by a river. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling and paddling. Sanitary facilities are top, supermarket within walking distance. @

Top sanitary facilities, brand new. Very nice pitches on a large square. In the immediate vicinity supermarkets and a boat rental. Paddling on the Altmühl is relaxing.

Everything already said. With us there was wind, it was snowing birch frames or something similar all over the place. It was no longer possible to have breakfast outdoors. That stuff was everywhere. Otherwise nice place, just not in the wind.

Very scenic right on the Altmühl river. New construction of the sanitary facility, reception and restaurant. However, the supply station has not been implemented well, since fresh water and toilet cleaning hose are right next to each other. There are fresh water taps every few meters at the campsite. All pitches are level and laid out as a meadow with sufficient electricity connections. There are only 3 permanent campers.

nice place.. It is so big that you don´t usually have to reserve.. Staff, staff very friendly.. Sanitary building new in 2019!. Gastronomic offer still has room for improvement.. Altmühlradweg directly afterwards.. Canoe / kayak next door to rent and paddle on the Altmühl.. Were often on the square in 2019.

We were in the square before the sanitary facilities were renovated and I´m glad they were updated. Otherwise the place is in a great location, a parking space directly at the Altmühl is worthwhile, you can jump in directly. The kids and the dog loved it.
