The place is on the high plateau of the Alb, about 720m. That´s why it gets noticeably cool at night (12-13 degrees) despite 30 degrees in the shade. The place is quiet, the nearest villages are 6-10 km away. The square has a well-stocked shop, a small coffee shop and an excellent Italian restaurant next door. The reception is friendly. The sanitary facilities are very good, with an attached dishwashing room, dishwasher {1€) and washing machine plus dryer. In the basement of the reception there are also showers / toilet, washing machine and drying room. An event house is also available. Large mini golf course (for a fee), table tennis tables and a large children´s playground. Large swimming pool and other sanitary facilities in the permanent camper area. Fresh water / gray water / chemical toilet. fresh water: own hose with Gardena connection required. Many power sources, but depending on the 30m cable required. BUT: there are basically no flat pitches. The parceled pitches (47) are on a slope, only on the tent meadow, where maybe 30-50 things can stand, there are a few reasonably level pitches. Very sloping places on the lawn, muddy very quickly when it rains, only a few places with gravel, good sanitary facilities, friendly reception, 2 people with camper and electricity in February 2020 for one night € 29.50.
