Parking at the airport.. Directly at the tower and at the not used terminal building.. The parking lot is completely empty and quiet and equipped with lawn grass parking spaces.. Parking is possible without restriction.. The area is maintained (as of 10/2017), good starting point for cycling (info board on the square).. In the immediate vicinity on the northeast side of the airport grounds is the aircraft museum --Flugwelt Altenburg--.. A direct access from the parking lot is only possible along the fence over unpaved roads (about 1 km).
