The pitch is well equipped, it has everything you need. The delightful view of the water of the `` W rnitz ´ can unfortunately only be found a few meters away.
Oettingen in Bavaria is about 17 km from N rdlingen, on the edge of the `Ries´ crater.
The W rnitzinsel-Fluss-Freibad with plenty of trees is worth visiting. The W rnitzinsel offers relaxation and recreation especially to families with small children.
Because of the Jakobi-Kirchweih, the parking space is not available during the last two weeks of July and until around August 6th.

There is good news! :-))@The place has been expanded and now offers 25 parking spaces. @The path along the shore has been widened and gravelled. About 8 new places were created in the Festwiese, and the power supply was moved to the meadow. @Payment (currently €8.00) is now via app, but this is explained well and is easy to install. However, a city employee is supposed to come towards the evening, who can also be paid for. @The place has really won! :-))

We were there again at the beginning of August 2021. All previous parking spaces were all free, but the newly created alternative spaces on the meadow were almost all occupied. But these are also chargeable!

We were there on June 28th and had to find out that the places along the W rnitz can no longer be approached for nature conservation reasons due to a fixed barrier. @The number of parking spaces has been expanded so that part of the festival meadow can be used - but the whole thing looks rather provisional.
