The parking space is located on the Danube in the former winter port of Racklau. It offers ample space but lacks any facilities. For flood protection reasons, the stay is limited to 24 hours. There is a V/E at the Güterbahnhof parking space in Passau. Likewise at the parking space at the Ilzbrücke

If you have a bike with you, the distance to Passau city center is okay. It takes about 10 minutes. The night was quiet.

large parking space, quite far from the city center. Unfortunately, the space is used as a permanent parking space for a lot of trailers, so not all spaces are available. Very quiet at night. The surrounding area is more of an industrial and service area with large halls and buildings.

During the day permanent passage of coaches, which bring the passengers of the adjacent river ships to their destinations. Since the road leading past is quite narrow, some bus drivers like to dodge it by driving across the parking space. At night from 2.30 a.m. the ships are supplied by trucks. We would only use the pitch as a day pitch.
