    The monastery was founded in 975. Here you can see the transition from Romanesque to Gothic very well. The previous buildings were discovered through excavations. Today you can see a Gothic hall church.

    In 1913 the manufacturer Theodor Kessler gave the city the 36 m high tower. Several renovations, the last so far in 2007, ensure accessibility. The tower is open from March to October.
