    The ruins of Eckartsberg would not be worth mentioning, but the view from this point is very nice.
    There is an obelisk erected in 1856 that commemorates the connection of the Breisgau to the Grand Duchy of Baden in 1806

    The 42 m high tower has stood on the 521 m high Eichelspitze since 2006. The viewing platform at a height of 27 m offers a beautiful view over the Vosges and the Kaiserstuhl.
