The Winzerverein Hagnau is not only the oldest, but also one of the most successful cooperatives in Baden.. <9> In 1881, pastor and popular writer Heinrich Hansjakob brought the winemakers together to form the first wine cooperative in Baden.. <9> <9> The ´Hagnauer Burgstall´ is one of the most popular sea wines.

The castle is now a residential complex with condominiums.
It is on the B31 between Hagnau and Immenstaad on a hill 200 m from the lake. It is embedded in the Margravial-Baden vineyards. Fruit growing is also widespread here.
