From this homestead, the village was born <9> Since the 14th century, the region belonged to the administrative district of the Prince Bishops of Strasbourg, later the Knights of Bosenstein had the say here <9> In 1803 Ottenhöfen fell to the Grand Duchy of Baden, in 1973 it was then newly founded Ortenaukreis connected <9> <9> Hikers, bikers, Nordic walkers and mill enthusiasts will get their money´s worth here..
