    Der Augustusbrunnen wurde in den Jahren 1588 bis 1594 von dem Stadtgießer Peter Wagner gegossen.Als Material wurde Bronze und Messing verwendet. Das Becken und die Brunnensäule bestehen aus Marmor. Die Augustusfigur ist ca. 2,50 m hoch.
