    NienburgWeser is a city in Lower Saxony, Germany and is located on the German Fachwerkstrasse. It lies on the Weser River and has a population of around 32,000 people. The city has a long history and was first mentioned in documents in 1025.

    In Nienburg there are many historical buildings and sights, including Erichsburg Castle, the oldest surviving half-timbered house in the city, St. Martin´s Church and the administrative building.

    The city is also an important transport hub and has good connections to the motorway network and rail transport. There are regular train connections to Hanover, Bremen and other cities in the region.

    Nienburg is also known for its natural surroundings, with many parks and green spaces ideal for hiking, cycling and relaxing. The nearby Steinhuder Meer Nature Park is a popular destination for tourists and locals.
