    Warburg is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, located about 50 kilometers east of Paderborn and 30 kilometers southwest of Kassel. The city has a population of around 24,000 and belongs to the Höxter district.

    Warburg is a historic city with a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. The city is known for its well-preserved old town with numerous half-timbered houses and narrow streets. Some of the most important sights in Warburg are the historic town hall, the Gothic church of St. Marien and Desenberg Castle, which sits on a hill above the town.
