- On April 7, 2018, the new museum is to open Peter August Böckstiegel, which is currently being built on the property of the Künstlerhaus in Werther near Bielefeld.. The listed birth house itself, a red-orange half-timbered house idyllically situated in the countryside and decorated with carvings and glass windows Böckstiegels, although also serves as a museum, but can only be made accessible to a limited number of visitors because of its small size..
