- Kühlungsborn <9> <9> The history of the Ostseebad Kühlungsborn goes back to the year 1857. It started with the two-storey ´Logierhaus´, the first bathhouse.. In 1899, the first hot-bath establishment was opened nearby.. This was followed by the ´Ostseehotel´ and the ´Strandperle´.. Promenade paths and a 120 meter long jetty into the Baltic Sea were built.. In 1938, the city of Kühlungsborn emerged from the merger of several places - they called it the ´green city by the sea´ because of the 133-acre urban forest.. <9> <9> <994/1306022> <994/1306021> <994/1306029> <9> <9> Many beautiful and original small villas and Wilhelminian townhouses dominate the picture.. In the eastern part there is a Dutch mill , which was built in 1872.. Furthermore, the museum of the Mecklenburgische Bäderbahn can be visited..
