Parking at the valley station of the Tarscher Alm cable car. Overnight stay free. Was probably possible earlier at the restaurant, but it is closed as well as the train. Quiet and idyllic location at 1200m altitude.

Addition to our review of 10/14/22@Attention! When approaching the square, be sure to follow the signs for the main route to Tarsch. Our GPS guided us through the orchards. You arrived, but driving through town was only possible with the outside mirrors folded in and a number of scratches, even though our mobile home is one of the smaller ones (6m long). We had no problems on the signposted route.

We experienced the place beautifully and quietly. The chairlift was not in operation. Three mobile homes were spread over three huge parking lot levels. The facility is probably mainly used for winter sports, as this is where the well-designed family toboggan run ends.

Unfortunately, in the meantime always very full, at the driveway there are now hanging electric fence cables carrying electricity where you have to drive through (see picture) with satellite dishes, etc. Problems can arise

Both the chairlift and the alpine farms are open. (August 2020) Quiet place as a starting point for hikes or mountain bike tours. At the moment, simply staying overnight is not a problem. But sometimes very weird. .
