    Barbaresco

    Barbaresco is a famous wine town in the Langhe. It is a fairly small place with almost 700 inhabitants (2010) and not very popular with tourists.

    There are a number of wine producers. The most famous is Gaja, which cannot be visited.

    At the other wineries, the tasting rooms and wine cellars are open to interested parties.

    There are several enotecas where you can taste and buy wines from different wineries. The most interesting is the ´Enotca Regionale del Barbaresco´, housed in a former church.
