    The small town of Bobbio is surrounded by fields, forests and vineyards.
    The historic old town lies within the city walls from the 12th century. The basilica and the monastery, founded by an Irish monk in 614, as well as the bridge over the Trebbia with its eleven unequal arches (7th century) are the sights of Bobbio.
