The municipal administration has redesigned the lake promenade in Germignaga, thereby significantly improving the recreational value of the place. Germignaga offers a lot for visitors thanks to its proximity to the lake and its openness to tourism. It is a charming village located at the mouth of the Tresa River, between Brezzo di Bedero and Luino. The age of the village is evidenced by the antiquity of the historic village center compared to Lake Maggiore. The area was formed over the years by deposits following floods from the river.
