Very nicely situated campsite right by the sea in the Riga Bay. Simple shower, dry toilet, electricity, WiFi, boat rental, bike rental and and and. . . .
Super nice staff, a bar is also available, so the good cold Latvian beer is always there. . . .
Camping area is on a meadow directly on the seashore about 20 m from the beach.
Each pitch is equipped with a bench, table and barbecue area. There is only one price for each vehicle, regardless of the number of people.

We remembered the great location of this campsite from 2017. Now in July 2020 we are very disappointed with the dilapidated infrastructure. There is only one completely rotten and moldy shower on the completely crowded place at the weekend. The shower drain is obviously blocked. The water flows into a large hole in the shower base. The few outhouse toilets are full to the brim and exude an intense smell of faeces in an easterly wind. Further sanitary facilities are completely missing. In the meantime, an overnight stay in the Womo costs € 15, electricity included. However, this cannot be used on weekends because the power grid collapses for hours due to permanent overload.

Coming from the Via Baltica A1, between Riga and Ainazi (Estonian border) on departure Tuya in place, there is not even signposted from the campsite, but always RIGHT and stay on this road, then left the campsite Krimalnieki ....
