The upper place is locked for mobile homes by a meaningful sign, on the lower one can be until revoked.. The police are driving often, no camping-like behavior! Mecca parking for surfers in Europe, totally in the nature
The place is planed with fine gravel / muschelkalk and parzelliert
There are plank paths and stairs to the beach
There is a toilet building with 4 toilets and a washbasin where you can take small amounts of water.
The beach is not suitable for bathing, as the waves reach about 300m far into the sea and break.. There are two surfing schools.
A recommended restaurant is located on the cliffs about 1km north, a small snack bar is also right on the beach.
Previous stocked with food and drinks is recommended, as Carrapateira is about 3km away and only a small Supermarket has.

Directly behind the kiosk is a diesel generator that runs during the day.. If the humming bothers you can put yourself in the lower parking lot or at the very top of the corner.
