This is the parking lot of the Pilatus cog railway in Alpnachstad.. The place can be used for an overnight stay, but is located directly on the one-lane highway A8.. From 0 to 5 clock rather less traffic.. Good starting point to drive or ride the Pilatus by the cogwheel railway.. Platz is located directly on Lake Lucerne.. Boat pier just a few meters away, the cruise ship leaves for Lucerne several times a day.. Train station is also directly at the square, which goes to Lucerne.. On the square in front of the cogwheel railway there are two cafes, of which Sylvies Bistro is highly recommended, delicious ice cream, cakes, sandwiches but also hot dishes.
