A very nice, shady, absolutely quiet, level forest parking lot by a stream. Fire pits, seating, a portable toilet, and kiosk on site. Quite busy during the day as many day hikers use the place. WARNING - PLACE IS NO LONGER USABLE !

Currently May 20, 2020, the Alp cooperative was prohibited from offering overnight accommodation (see photo). Green does not conform to the zone. Alp cooperative has a positive attitude towards womos. In underwater, the womos were removed from the parking spaces by the police (super tourism campaign). Have stayed 2 nights and have fed the coin machine accordingly (Fr. 5. - / 12h, due to ban no more Womo tariff available).

In Thurgau at Old St. Johan, it comes from underwater high on the side of the Säntis.. A sign indicates the Waldparkplatz Laui and a narrow, earlier only one lane passable road leads to this place.. Always Looking ahead to dovetail with possible oncoming traffic.
