Beautiful and secluded place below the road and fortress on the waterfront ... Visitors to the castle park in parking lot just off the M3, just go down to the water.. The road is part of the Georgian Military Road north.. From Tiblissi about 40 km.. A few houses in sight.

Coming to the fortress from the south pass to the center of the small town.. Here a sharp right down to the lake.. At the fortress directly also a narrow, steep path down, but not recommended.
