Campingplace Swakopmund, Namibia

  On the shores of the Swakop and south of the town is the very well maintained resort with 36 parking spaces and 30 bungalows.. From here, the old center of the city with the many buildings with a German ambience around 1900 is built and the German street names can be reached on foot.. In the vicinity is the promenade and the marine aquarium.
(The 46 euro as the highest price refer to the Christmas day, otherwise the space costs 26 euro)
The walled and guarded grounds is very beautifully designed.. The pitches have a well-groomed lawn, which is a rarity in Namibia.. To each parking space belongs a house with room for shower, sink, toilet and safe as well as a barbecue.. On the premises there is a cafe in the morning a breakfast buffet is offered.. The staff is very friendly and helpful, a small shop is connected. In the background one hears the noise of the Atlantic and sometimes the traffic from the bridge across the river.
