  On a high plateau are the excavations of the Illyrian city Byllis.. From the plateau at about 500m you Eien overwhelming view of the plains and the river Vjosa, the place Balish is about 5 km away and the excavation Apollonia about 30 km away.. It can be seen below in the plane, the new stretch of motorway from Ri. Fier, which is not recorded in all maps.
The Old Byllis was surrounded by a 2km long city walls are still standing from the wide areas.. The grounds are spacious, individual excavation fields are surrounded by fences.
At the end of the driveway there is a restaurant and before that a kind of holy places and picnic area, which is visited by pilgrims.. On the lawn in front of it can be good.. Front of the restaurant usually park the day visitors.. We ate in the restaurant and asked wg.. Night which is no problem.. Since the meadow apparently not part of the restaurant on the site, I think there is no Verplichtung bezügl.. Restaurant visit, unless you want to use the toilets.
If you the asphalt road up the hill, one reaches a Zauntor what is apparently always open.
