Our place is a natural campground and we only occasionally take mobile homes or caravans.
We therefore do not want to explicitly advertise it.
The site is leased by a forest administration, and we have a contractual limitation to a maximum of 5 vehicles.
So it is essential to call beforehand whether it is ok! Registration with Mr. G nter Kytka ( 43/664 5920158 or 43/2874/8401) is required, as space is very limited.

The driveway is not signposted, so we didn´t dare to drive over the sidewalk, there is also space on the street. Very quiet and secluded, maybe different in summer. .

We were again at the Schlesinger pond for a few days. Despite a violent thunderstorm, everything was very nice. The nature all around is wonderful for hiking. Bathing in the moor lake was wonderful. The fountain was redesigned and new electricity connections were made. The price for one kw / h is 50 cents. Billing is based on the stored meter reading. @A reservation is essential as the space is very small. @Satelite reception is also not possible because the place is in the middle of the forest.

The course is beautifully laid out in the forest next to the Schlesinger pond. Toilet is neat and clean. Disposal is possible. Drinking water from a spring. There is a beautifully landscaped fitness park around the lake. The lake is ideal for swimming. Boating and fishing is also possible. There are hiking trails in all directions. It is possible to shop at the Spar supermarket directly in Bärnkopf. At the Gasthaus zum Wakelstein you can eat original roast pork with Waldviertel dumplings. A seat reservation is essential.
