Very quiet place to stay in autumn 2022. No disturbance from young rally drivers. A visit to the castle museum is recommended and the hike down to Lassnitz and to the hermitage is also a pleasure for those who are sure-footed. Attention: The access via the Burggasse directly from Deutschlandsberg is not nearly as steep as the other longer route via the Schlosstrasse

as an emergency place if you have drunk too much in one of the Buschenschanken just a few meters away, the place is ok, we have been parking there for years when we go to the winery, because years ago we were warned that this was the rally route for the horsepower Bolides from the area we have always slept somewhere else. this time 07/22 tried for the first time: Conclusion the fuel is just too cheap. it is heated up the mountain and shot gas laps on the square that it just smokes. earlier in the evening the younger ones are upstairs with their souped-up mopeds. the place is also partly a parking lot for the castle hotel. freely accessible water tap at the back left next to the castle wall. But the view is nice. Approach very steep from both directions
