Lower parking lot at the valley station of the Hochsöllbahn to Hexenwasser with a very nice swimming lake nearby and a view of the Kaiser Mountains. Overnight stays tend to be tolerated for campers in summer. Use the Ahornsee parking lot in winter.

Experienced today, January 3rd, 2024. The parking lot is private property. There were a few there and luckily we were in the parking lot at Ahornsee. We set off around 9 a.m. and drove through Bergdoktor Platz. There we were very rudely stopped by 2 women in uniform and pointed out that you couldn´t stand there and that everyone who was standing on the square would have to expect a report, which would then go to court. Penalties between €3,500 - €5,000. At this time the square was already full with cars. We cannot judge how things went with Ahornsee Platz over the course of the day. The place is not suitable for the ski season.
