Newly expanded restaurant at the mountain station of the Karren cable car. The Karren is the local recreation area in Dornbirn and the surrounding area. Very nice for hiking. Great view over the Rhine Valley in Swiss mountains, the Rhine Valley, Lake Constance and the German lake shore. With very good visibility to the Vosges (Alsace). Can also be done by train for older people!

The new campsite was rebuilt as a 4* campsite and is located right at the entrance to one of the most popular local recreation areas. Opposite is the Karren cable car. Approx. 500 m to the Feibad Enz. There is a bus stop directly in front of the campsite and restaurant.

The cityscape of Hohenems is characterized by the palace, which has been renovated over the years and is a jewel in the center.
The palace has been owned by the Waldburg-Zeil family for 200 years.
Since 1960 it has been used for public and private events. For example the Schubertiade from 1976 and the state exhibition ´Clothes make the man´ in 1991.
Next about 60 events a year (conferences, weddings, receptions, concerts) take place in the castle. The original plans from 1560 are still archived in the palace archives, and construction began in 1563.
There is also a gastronomy in the castle. Which has been very popular for years.
