Parking areas along the access road to the newly built recreation area in St. Martin. The course of the Mur, which was originally straightened, was extensively remodeled and the entire river area was renatured. The Mur now flows in a large loop with bathing and picnic areas. The Murradweg leads past. During the day sometimes noise from passing trucks (gravel pit adjacent). Very quiet in the evening and at night. Overnight stays are tolerated.
Arrival: From the B99 exit St. Martin, southbound, Baggersee, approx. 1km

Large car park at the valley station of the Fanningberg lifts, Samsonbahn. RVs can park in the lower parking lot. Overnight stays may be permitted on request from the mountain railways. Wonderful hiking area in summer, family ski area in winter. The approach takes about 400 meters in altitude with a moderate incline. The toilet facilities can be used during operating hours.

Large parking lot of the Aineckbergbahnen, mobile homes can park in the lower part of the square - see photos. Overnight stays may be permitted upon request from the mountain railways (depending on the season). The toilets are open during operating hours.

Large car park at the valley station of the Speiereck-Großeck ski area, ski area to Mauterndorf. Motorhomes can park in the rear area. Wonderful hiking area in summer.

The round begins and ends in Mauterndorf. A total of 19 km and 800 vertical meters are to be covered. First, the route leads along a paved cycle path parallel to the main road in a southerly direction to Begöriach, where a forest road branches off uphill to the Trogalm, highest point approx. 1800. Good place to stop for refreshments! From there it goes past the Sonnalm and only downhill back to Mauterndorf.

The route leads from St. Margarethen to the Bonnerhütte. The way back is the same as the way there, one route is 7 km and about 650 m ascent. The path leads on forest roads and later briefly on wooden planks over a swampy area.

The tower and the palace are the oldest parts of the castle, construction of which began around 1250. The chapel was built in 1339 and around 1500 Leonhard von Keutschach enlarged the castle by adding private rooms. The state of Salzburg has owned the castle since 1978 and has set up a cultural center and landscape museum in it.
