Large, gravel parking space.. Garbage cans are available next door at the Karlovy Vary Terminal.. It is approx. 200 m to the beginning of the pedestrian zone.. Very suitable as a starting point for a city tour.. Relatively quiet at night.

The place now costs €26 (650 kr) for one day. Entry and exit through a barrier. You still get a parking ticket, but you no longer need it because registration works via video and license plate. Pay with card or cash at the machine before exiting. There are no designated parking spaces, so there is space for more than 16 motorhomes. The gravel course is undulating and when it rains there are some puddles. The place is next to a railway line that is rarely used. The huge space, which is also used by cars, leaves an unsightly impression. There is a busy bus parking lot next to the square (noisy early in the morning). 10 minutes to the pedestrian zone, grocery store and train station.

At first we were a little unsure because the ticket booth looked rather ´improvised´ and we were the only overnight guests. A second camper came in late in the evening, we had a quiet night. @ 5 euros is a fair price for 24 hour parking including a Dixi toilet.

Very friendly staff!. After consultation, it is also possible to dispose of the chemical toilet in the DIXI toilets on site, which of course must then be left clean again.

The place is ideal for a city tour.. The Kurpromenade is just 15 minutes away, the train and bus stations are right next to the square.. A railway line leads past the parking lot, but it doesn´t bother you too much, as there is no train at 22:00.. The signage now expressly indicates the place for camping vehicles
