Meadowland, gently sloping towards the Jesenice reservoir. Nice view of the lake. Very quiet. Unfortunately, the restaurants were closed during our one-day visit in August. So there was no fresh bread/rolls in the morning. Lake Access

I´m currently planning a visit to this place and noticed that it is not open as described here, but will only open on April 26th, 2024 - please correct this to avoid unnecessary journeys. (NO){mod}thanks for the report. Unfortunately I couldn´t find the date of the annual closure on the homepage, did you find anything there? Since it doesn´t open until April, I´m assuming October 31st??

One of the most beautiful places I´ve ever stood on. Spacious, beautifully located on the water, barbecues and fires are allowed, even fishing. Good sanitary facilities, everything clean. Simply fantastic and for the price! If you are looking for a point of criticism, it is that there is no food to buy. Neither bread rolls on the square, nor a reasonable grocery store in town. There is only a corner shop within 1.5km, which by far doesn’t have everything and doesn’t seem particularly hygienic. At least you could buy rolls and vegetables there. So pack the fridge full!
