eEspecially from mid-October to mid-November, when up to 50,000 cranes pass through, otherwise very scenic, the dikes are largely car-free and ideal for cyclists and skaters, leisure activities in summer. On the homepage, there is information on how many places can be booked.
Allowed for RVs over 30 feet, RV trailers are not allowed.
Short-term stays up to 5 hours possible.

At the moment, this and the other parking spaces can be used free of charge due to Corona, i.e. the barriers are permanently open and you have free choice of space. We have visited the place several times to watch the cranes on the lake. Since it had rained for the past few days, some of the pitches are softened and therefore cannot be used. We were lucky enough to get the last seat on the left after the driveway, as this still offers a graveled area in front of the motorhome and in the adjoining picnic area there are bench and tables. @Today on October 4th you can already see some cranes although the majority (over 100,000) will not arrive until the end of October.
