Nice car park above the town of Peyre. Peyre itself has the distinction of ´most beautiful villages in France´. There is a magnificent view of the Tarn Valley and the Millau Viaduct. A meadow with fruit trees borders the parking space and there are also two seating areas with tables on them. The village center is about 500 meters downhill. The only restaurant in the village is only open in the summer months. There are no other supply options. However, one is in Millau in 15 minutes.

- very nicely located parking space, wonderful view of the bridge of Millau, - our navigation system wanted to lead to the place in an ideal, unfortunately forbidden way, - we then drove directly into the city of Millau, on narrow roads through in the Tarn valley to Place Peyre, - a walk from the parking space to the small place is highly recommended, - old houses (well-kept) are built close to and partly in the vertical rocks, - a well usable, clean dry toilet is available at the place,

How you have the best coming from Millau. From Compregnac a narrow road leads up along the Tarn Peyre. In Peyre, take the narrow road lying west of the city (almost no lay-bys) up. It's about two or three switchbacks steeply uphill.
