Have just come back here for the second time and it is still a recommendable parking space. This time the alternative place behind it is also occupied. We could still get the last free space on the actual parking space. Is currently very busy, as there is a medieval market in the castle park.

This is really a really nice place right on the Loir. Unobstructed view of the Loire, at least when you are in the first row. Supply, disposal is in the aisle of the driveway and easy to drive off, old but functional and toilet flushing and fresh water clearly separated. There are even small posts that you can drive up on so that you stand at an angle enough to let everything flow. At least that´s what I believed until I saw that it was “only†the water outlets for the VE flushing system. Well, sometimes you think really far past reality. I´ve never seen it like this before. The drone pictures are clear, but in no way convey the really great layout of the place. It is really well parceled out and the first row has a lot of lawn to spread out.The entrance is kept extremely narrow. This is intentional, because you don´t want the really big ones here. And it is heavenly calm and peaceful here. It is an 800m straight avenue to the castle.
