The square opens at Easter. A campsite well suited for nature lovers and lovers of simple camping. No luxury, no attractions, but lovable, simple and wonderfully scenic right on the river. The sanitary facilities are old and simple, but clean. The groundskeeper is very helpful and warm - an original. You feel like family. You need a bike to get to the city of Vallon Pont D Arc (it is too far on foot). If you want to go canoeing (this is the main attraction and wonderful) it is better to go out of season (e.g. in June), otherwise there are more canoes than water

We were there on the last day before the closure. Great pitch with a view of the Ardeche. Small swimming area available. Sanitary facilities are older.

Camping de l`Ile is a place for nature lovers and lovers of ´simple´ camping. No luxury, no ´attractions´, but lovable, simple and wonderfully scenic right on the river.
