We were really enthusiastic about this really beautiful place, especially the beautiful flower meadow that you can see and cut flowers. Not to be forgotten: the brewery hiking trail with the rustic inns, above all the legendary ´Kathie-Bräu´. We´ll be back!!

Very nice, quiet place. Everything as described. Space is taken up by many non- or partially self-sufficient vehicles because toilets and showers are available.

Very nice place for the beer hike, cobbled places nice and straight, toilet unisex but very clean, showers possible (1, -) not used, absolutely quiet, today only 10 mobiles there, supply, disposal OK, waste separation top, delicious beer ( also sm machines around the clock), we think it´s great

Arrival: We recommend avoiding arriving via Streitberg (18% incline). If you come from Forchheim A 73 drive via Gasseldorf, Heiligenstadt, Aufsess then you will reach Hochstahl or from the A 70 exit Stadelhofen, Hollfeld via Plankenfels and then to Hochstahl. A9 exit Trockau, Waischenfeld, Hochstahl.

I´ve known the pitch for 8 years. For me one of the best in the region. Always recommendable. Currently relatively few motorhomes, but I also know other things, e.g. , B. on Ascension Day or Pentecost. Then it can be quite full.

Been to this beautiful place again for a few days. The Schäuferle were again excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant closes forever in December 2020. The parking space u. the brewery will continue to operate. There will also continue to be a breakfast buffet.

Very nice place with a good brewery next to it. Highly recommended food and beer. Good starting point for hikes. The internet connection didn´t work for us on all three providers.
