Gross parking for 300 cars.. In winter, behind the log cabin are 2 ski lifts, toboggan run and groomed cross-country trails.. In summer many hiking trails along the former west wall.. Parallel to the parking lot, in the forest, you can still see partially blown, fenced bunkers.. According to the operator of the log cabin is allowed to stay in the parking lot.. Once a month a flea market takes place in the parking lot.. Then the campers should be on the lower half of the square.. In the cabin you can eat well and inexpensively.. Sat reception is not possible on the squares along the forest, on the street side due to tall trees.. Between the park rows are trash cans, Picnik tables with seating and information and information boards to the Eifel Nature Park.. At night, wonderful peace.

Stood here for 3 nights for Father´s Day. On Father´s Day there was high live in the log cabin, with live music, barbecue and outside bar. Was quite well attended. Otherwise peace and quiet, ideal for walks and hikes

We stood here from May 20th to May 24th. Wonderfully quiet at night, several other mobiles and some hikers during the day. Since you would have to leave your data in the log cabin, we refused to go out for dinner. On May 23rd we drove to Pronsfeld to the V and E.
