Motorhome place Bad Elster
Whoever planned and had this parking space built has definitely never driven a motorhome. The entire facility was built in a depression, the three left-hand parking spaces slope to the right and the three right-hand spaces to the left, and all six spaces at the front are uphill and far too short (approx. 6m). You can put a ton of ramps underneath, but the motorhome will always be at an angle. In addition, the parking facility was built directly opposite the entrance and exit of the parking garage. There is always plenty of traffic there.

The parking space is good value for money and ideally located for the thermal baths. However... the motorhome is leaning lengthways, you need at least 3 wedges to level it out, you can live with that, but worse still, there is no toilet disposal on site, except in the sewage treatment plant, 18km away, a joke! Parking until you get the key for the lock is hardly legally possible, unfortunately not thought through, . . . . how am I, as an over 60-year-old with a wheelchair-bound wife, supposed to use this space, push it to the toilet in the thermal baths in all weathers and then after 1-2 days go to the sewage treatment plant in Oelsnitz to dispose of it? It´s a shame, because the thermal baths and the staff are nice... difficult to impossible for disabled people, unfortunately! Planning needs improvement!

The pitches are provided with a barrier. You have to get the key for this in the Albert-Bad (open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.), approx. 200 m. However, you cannot park the mobile home on the pitch. Parking space is shaded by the adjacent multi-storey car park. The entrance/exit of the multi-storey car park is located directly at the parking space. Supply, disposal is also secured with brackets. We drove on. There would have been so many other options for setting up a parking space in Bad Elster.
