Parking space for more than 100 mobiles at the ´Franzrasen´ festival site in the Allendorf district. Flat, partly asphalted, partly gravel terrain on a Werra island in the middle of the city. Paved meadow ground on the edge of the site. Shadows through old trees. Central and very quiet, extremely scenic location in the immediate vicinity of the historic old town and the spa facilities. Can be used all year round. Exception: Thanksgiving and local festival (3rd weekend in August).

The new prices are extortionate in my opinion, even if the moderator disagrees. Electricity was also included in the old prices. There are cheaper places in the area. Bad Sooden no more.

The ticket machine does not accept card payment, you can get the ticket at the tourist office in Bad Sooden. Showers are not possible (this was also communicated to the municipality), I assume that there were originally showers in the house next to the toilet. Toilet open at night. Otherwise the space is ok, the price includes electricity and water, disposal, so it´s just about right.
