The place is not a bargain, but due to the slightly elevated terrain it is an ideal ´viewing platform´ on the Dahme. The parking spaces distributed over three courtyard areas create something like privacy. The marina right in front of it and the small restaurant with a lakeside terrace complete the whole thing. Tram 62 takes you from the nearby stop on Wendenschlossstraße to the city center of Köpenick and to the Köpenick S-Bahn station. However, there is also another connection to the S-Bahn network, because the passenger ferry to Grünau docks directly in front of the square. It takes you to the west bank of the Dahme every quarter of an hour and you have the option of either walking (approx. 700 m) or taking tram line 68 to the Grünau S-Bahn station.

A 13 / E 55, exit 3, A 113 to Schönefelder Kreuz / Treptow, further towards the center, branch after Adlergestell direction Köpenick on the Glienicke way Grünauer Strasse in direction of travel, then the Köllnischen place right in driving direction and over the long drive bridge.. After the bridge, third right turn into Wendenschloss Street.. After about 2.5 kilometers, past the first pitch of the industrial area (Shipyard), turn right into the Villenviertel- Müggelbergallee.. The Historic Ferry is located in the old residential district of Wendenschloss.
