Great place to look at ships. Of course, the railway line running directly behind the square is noisy. The environment is also not really inviting. Everyone has to decide for himself.

Great view of the Rhine and the Rüdesheim opposite. Quite noisy from the adjacent rail / freight trains, even at night. To the ferry to Rüdesheim approx. 20 minutes on foot, another 20 minutes to the cable car to the Niederwalddenkmal (9 €). About 40 minutes to Bingen / City, very nice along the banks of the Rhine. When the space is full, people park one behind the other.
